I listened to Scott Vellain and his teachings for almost a year before I had to call it quits. He has 95% truth and 5% soul and spirit killing poison. In particular he denies the divinity of Christ and His pre-existence. Vellain claims to have a truth that has been revealed to no one else except for him (cult flag). He very actively isolates his followers from any interaction with all the rest of Christianity and Hebrew Roots groups that disagree with him (cult flag). Vellain also demonizes anyone who leaves his cultic circle (cult flag).

Tom Stamman threatens those who speak out against him!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I know the person who posted this complaint about Mr. Tom Stamman very well.

He retracted his complaint against Tom and backtracked because Tom threatened him. Stamman told him that if he didnt stop speaking out against him he would have him thrown in jail and then when Tom learned that wouldnt work he threatened to sue him. Tom went on to say that his son is a lawyer in Wisconsin and his son would work around the clock to sue this person if he didnt keep quiet and or have him thrown in prison. Because of Toms threats he retracted his complaint about Tom being a con artist and scamming him out of a fake investment as well as Tom being a false prophet.

The truth is I have been to many of Toms meetings, and he has told me things supposedly from God that are just plain false and told me to do things supposedly from God that I could not do. I could not do it because there were rules in place that prevented me from pursuing those things. I have heard him literally pick on people. He was at one church, and he made fun of a mans appearance and at another church he literally made fun of a mentally retarded man.

He is arrogant and full of crap.

He often exaggerates things and I guarantee he is not being totally honest about his ministry. Beware of him!

Tom Stamman is the real deal. I have never seen someone have a prophetic gift from God and be as accurate every single time. I have been to Tom's meetings probably 50 times and am blown away every time as He pinpoints every person and hears from God for everyone who is present.

Tom Stamman is horrible in my experience. When i was about 7 or 8 years old i had issues as a child connecting with authority figures after i was molested by a baby sitter. My mother took me to a "Tom Stamman tent revival" put on by my church. I used to love them. Church in the middle of a field sounded awesome. But this year changed things for me. He asked for anyone that needed prayer to come up. My mother said that i needed to go up but i wouldn't. So she drug me up there. I was sobbing. He tries praying over me but i wasn't having it. He asks for a chair, sits down forces me to sit down on his lap crossing both arms over my arms and chest. He's a really big strong guy. Like really big. He asked everyone up to "lay a hand on her" and speak in tongues. These were my friends and family, all holding me there. I was finally able to free my hands and i scratched tom so bad(and may have bit, yeah pretty sure i did) he let me go. People tried to grab me as i ran. I ran all the way into the field and just collapsed. I lost all faith that night and honestly never recovered it. As you can imagine, a traumatized child forced into this position, it marked me for years. And i still refer to it as my exorcism. People say he's good, they only see one side of him. The way he was squeezing me, i could barely breath. I absolutely despise him.

Pure religion is helping orphans and widows

Impact ministries international is blessed to be able to take care of 54 needy children in Honduras. With 85 to 90 full time and or subcontractors. IMI is the number one employer for 20,000 people. IMI has 160 full time students in their school the biggest school in 14 villages. IMI has a free medical clinic and a week treated nearly 500 people for free IMI partners with young life, fellowship of Christian athletes, and assembly of God , Lutheran, Methodist, four square, open bible, and people from all denominations. They also fund orphanages in Africa and India and are building a safe house in Belize and USA. They broke ground on a wellness center in Peru. They have an air BNB that funds almost all of their personal needs. Since 2008 the founders have lived on between 1 to 5 % of IMI income. With 3 full-time accountants in Honduras and 2 part time accountants in USA the negative things said on this website are ludicrous. We date you to come to honduras and see for yourself. But of course the critics will not come. To say IMI gives just a little bit of money is ignorant. At 600 dollars times 85people is 50,000 a month Food is 10,000 Building supplies is 15,000 Electrical is 2500 We could go on and on Before displaying ignorance do the math. Or why not focus on what you do for Jesus.

To say IMI pays this or that rings particularly hollow given their track record of dishonesty and non payment for services rendered. How about posting your IRS info for the past 5 years.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
As someone who has closely followed Tom's ministry for some time, I have to agree that he is trying to do some good in some ways, but the extent of damage that he is willing to do to get you to lay down your cash, is sad. I hear his inaccuracies and his attempts to generally try to relate to people. I have seen so many good people get hoodwinked into believing that his words are a direct line from God. He speaks to make you feel good, not as a direct line from the heart of God to us. We all want to hear from God directly. Rather than trusting that still, small voice for ourselves, it is easy to hear a loud, self assuring voice from someone who knows how to maneuver through emotions just enough to compel us to fet our wallet out and cut a big check (or preferably cash), as a "thank you" for telling us what we want to hear. Beware... and follow him around to different events in different locations. You will inevitably hear the same message to different people, playing like a broken record. Also, fact check his claims. No doubt he brings in enough money to help some other charities, but I believe we are talking about a small fraction of your money going to outreach to the communities he claims to help. This is seemingly a for profit business more than it is a pure outreach. This fellow needs an IRS audit more than I need him to pat me on the butt and tell me that there is something great in my future. Grab a pack of fortune cookies and set up a time for your pastor read them to you. Then give the rest of the money that you would have given Tom to your church to help build their outreach program... or another charity that is completely transparent about their finances, not someone who will pocket everything they can and act like they are contributing their all to foreign missions.

After giving it some thought I am not going to defend Tom Stamman any more, I will not condemn him but I am not defending him. I am done with Impact Ministries and am done with Tom and all the people he is friends with for good.

Its time to move on. God used Tom early on in my walk with God but in this new season Tom and all his cronies from the past arent to be in my thoughts. I think Tom means well a lot of the time but he can make people upset sometimes not even realizing it and I think that he made you upset some how and for that I apologize on his behalf. I also apologize for speaking up and correcting you in what you said about him.

Its none of my business. This is between you and Tom. I think a lot of things would be solved if more people apologized to each other instead of defended themselves all the time even when their in the wrong. Tom maybe you know who this guy is and you can reach out and see how you have offended him and apologize.

Even if you dont think you did anything wrong there was still an offense. Apologies can go a long way.

Guest

I also want to add something. Would it be so wrong of Tom Stamman to pocket some of the missions and ministry money as a salary like so many churches and Ministries do?

No it wouldnt be the Bible says a preacher is worthy of pay. Tom can and should take a salary. Dont you get paid from your job?

Or do you work all day for free every day? I bet you dont.

Guest

I almost forgot How much money do you give away each month? How many children do you feed?

How many employees do you have? How many children do you have? What percent of your income do you give away? How much free medical do you give?

How many people have you let live in your home? How much food clothes shoes medicine have u given away How many orphanages have you built

Guest

Dear anonymous Have you been to Honduras and visited with the 45 to 50 fulltime children they take care of? Have you talk to his two accountants in USA and 3 accountantants in Honduras?

Have u met with the 85 to 90 people who have employment in Honduras? Have you seen his financials? Did you talk to the 240 people who received free medical care in Honduras in February? How about the many children who are subsidized to go to the Christian school Did you meet the hundreds of children fed in Sierra Leone Do you have any idea what it costs to employ 85 people?

By the way what are you doing to make the world a better place You have no idea what you are talking about? I dare you to come to,Honduras and find out what it is like.

I have known Tom for years, I have personally seen him be very accurate in prophecy and also in accurate at times. He is usually accurate if he doesnt know you.

Then once he knows you he is no longer accurate at least some of the time. He does have a real gift and prophets have a place in the body of Christ to hear Gods voice for people. Tom tends to really lift up and value people with money and success. I dont really blame him though as all the success books he reads tell him to only value those types of people and dont waste your time with the poor and unsuccessful.

Those Christian success books actually say it is a sin to be poor. And of course Tom needs money to live and for his missions work so he does try and get people to cut a check. Missions is expensive, he has a mansion with high taxes and his traveling expenses are high as he drives to a new church every night. So its understandable he would want money.

I really dont know if all the money that comes into his ministry which he claims to be millions a year goes to missions. I wouldnt know, he is human so he could keep some of it like other ministers do. We really dont have proof either way. Tom can be very prideful but I have also seen him have empathy, love and be humble.

He is after all a man with faults like the rest of us. He is good at what he does and is successful.

I think his success brings a lot of jealousy from people. Keep doing what your doing Tom and keep serving God.

Guidelines for Judging this & other Ministries

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Prophetic ministry is the most controversial, and understandably so, as Jesus did say there would be false prophets in the last days. However, there is also a genuine gift of prophecy which many churches (out of fear) either refuse to acknowledge or misjudge out of fear or close-mindedness. Provided someone is a born-again believer with sound doctrine and doing service for God (whether or not we disagree with their style), we are told to not despise prophetic utterances but rather judge/test all things, and also when prophets speak, to pass judgment on what is said, rather than the person saying it - and we are told to hold fast to that which is good/true, and the rest we can assume was of the mind of the prophet. So NT prophecy is not like OT prophecy where we kill the prophet for being inaccurate, and the prophetically gifted are growing in discernment with the use of their gift, learning to distinguish between their thoughts and the the thoughts from the mind of God by the Spirit...so we are to show them the same grace as we do a budding pastor or evangelist... So before you make rash and damaging judgments on any so-called prophet or prophetic ministry, please examine your heart intent as to what you are trying to accomplish ("Judge not lest you be judged") - is your intention to raise controversy and stand in the way of others feeling led to give to this ministry before you have - as though God needs you to be His whistleblower before coming to know the ministers lifestyle and examining all the fruits of their ministry? Or is your intention rather the furtherance of the genuine work of God (the will of the Father) possibly being done through this ministry, whether or not you agree with their style or giftings (as there are diverse ministries but the same Spirit working)? In the case of IMI, the feeding of orphans ("pure and undefiled religion") that they are doing and telling them of the love of Jesus and giving them a healthy upbringing and educational opportunities IS clearly the work of God. So unless you have taken the time to witness how this ministry is using donations, please do not stand in the way of others whom GOD may be leading to support this ministry. We should fear hindering the work of God through such ministries (just as we do not even hinder or discredit Catholic charitable ministries though we greatly differ in doctrine from them). We must be sure to remove the log (of disgruntlement, superficial opinion, delighting in controversy) from our own eye in order to be able to see clearly what is or is not from God in others. Jesus said that if we try to uproot the tares from the wheat, we could be uprooting the wheat (others of sincere but weaker faith) with the tares, so please examine your heart intentions before posting destructive assumptions about ministers and their ministries which God may indeed be greatly using....God bless...

This was very well stated. Rather than giving ear to those who clearly do not follow the whole counsel of God, but instead use the Word-Not rightly divided- for their own malicious ends, listen to this balanced counsel and follow the whole counsel of God. Ask the Lord yourself, and give as He leads.

He will call you out saying he is going to pray over you. I have heard him many times. This is not of God. He is out to rip you off and defame you if you oppose him. Then he has his 20.oo so called pastors under him. They pay a Small Fee and take an open book test to become an IMI minister. Then tom brags how he has ministers under him in IMI. They are as phony and three dollar bills. Speaking of dollar bills, tom is after yours. Support a starving kid and support me too is what he needs to say. He speaks the name it and claim it religion. He takes that right to his realtor. His property dealings with monetary "gifts" that he uses to buy them. Check out his spread. Ask him about Vegas and his dealings there( go ahead tom's followers). He plays on your sympathy of others to benefit his own ratty self. Ask his former wives. If you attend a church that invites him to speak, I would question the doctrine of that church. Most churches have banned him from their pulpit, but he will claim that those churches are not from God. It is the home churches and the rebellious churches that invite false teachers in. Birds of a feather flock together. Look int the lives of several of his close followers. According to tom himself, the Honduras orphanage is intended for his close followers to have a retirement village where that can retreat to when their fraudulent ways are found out.

Reminds me of a song I know :

We know it's tough to make ends meet through troubled times

As economic woes grow bad to worse

But call out to our family of faithful followers

Make the pledge today - give 'til it hurts

Our coffer's almost empty but our flock stands faithful by To help us shave the needy and bereft Together we can fleece our willing congregation And I can live on any small change that's left So - give 'til it hurts, yeah, give 'til it hurts Make a pledge and - give 'til it hurts.

And you are a real minister I suppose? We're did you go to Bible college or seminary at?

Many of Toms ministers have went to well known Bible colleges. Tom himself has a degree in ministry from a highly accredited and well known Bible college. Tom has given many prophetic words to people that are accurate I read a testimony on one of these posts about him from someone that said Toms accurate prophetic words led them to being born again. By the way what is your testimony?

How did you come to Christ. I feel that you have a dark secret of something that you did to your mother or with her.

I feel You suffer from a defeat mentality and feel defeated and less of a man. Should I read more of your mail and put that out there because I can.

Broken promises.

Do not ever share any ideas with Tom that you want to collaborate with him on. He will steal them and use them to fleece others and then lie about it.

He is a fraud. He will agree to terms orally and then break his word. He is not honest. He is a prideful, self righteous liar.

Don't trust him. He uses these kids to try to prove he is good when in his heart he knows he has repeatedly lied and walked on people with no repentance. I pray he repents and truly tries to put things right with those he has *** on. Beware his Words.

He has supposedly prophesied many random things to me which were not close to what I am called to do. He is a con.

I think Tom Stamman knows who this person is that posted this negative stuff about him. I think Tom knows who the other people are on this this site that posted negative stuff about him.

I am sorry this stuff happened to you and you had this offense. I think this is between you and Tom and that anyone else who rebukes people on this site for speaking bad of Tom is just as unloving as they think the person they are rebuking is. It's none of their business. Tom needs to contact and reach out to these people who feel offended and apologize and make it right.

Tom even if you feel you did nothing wrong just apologize anyway. There is no need to defend yourself and minimize these peoples hurts and offenses. They feel offended and that's what matters. An apology can go a long way.

I said this on another post and now I am saying it on this one. I will not be posting on any more posts defending Tom or condemning Tom. I am not going to think about Tom Stamman or his friends ever again. I hope all these posts on this site can get straightened out so people can heal.

I saw a comment on another post about Tom where a man said Tom accused him of molesting his child or something publicly and told his wife to leave him. He was very hurt yet no one apologized to him. I saw a lot of defending and condemning going on but no apologies so of course there was no healing.

This should not be. People need make things right and to heal.

I agree. This ministry is foul.

Sounds like you are making sweeping judgments as a distant observer - it's OK to have healthy skepticism, esp if the gift of prophecy is new or alien to you, and we are told to judge prophetic words and take what is good/true. NT prophecy is not like OT prophecy, so what bears witness with your spirit take as an exhortation or admonition (if you are receptive to it) from God...But please don't crucify the prophet or his/her ministry with rash/careless judgments without having personally witnessed the fruit of their ministry by going on a mission trip and not just seeing but experiencing what they do...this is what the Lord meant when He said, "Judge not lest you be judged" because making rash judgments out of mere opinions and ill feelings calls for first checking our own hearts for logs (ill will or impure intent) that may be blinding us to the work of the kingdom of God being accomplished through others...For example, just yesterday I was tempted to post a video (in the name of asking a Pastor to please explain on FB) of Billy Graham speaking compromisingly about the Gospel at an interview, but then the Lord asked me to examine my true intentions - was I more interested in shaking the faith of others who had come to Jesus through his ministry just to raise such a sinister question, or was I wanting the furtherance of the Gospel and testimony of Jesus? I was convicted of my desire for controversy and debate preceding the will of the Father, and immediately deleted my comment...

Idle busybodies spend time "fishing into people's lives," not those feeding 10,000 orphans a day. There's good fishing of souls Jesus' way and bad fishing to make slanderous comments like these. If helping oneself means helping so many, then that's just what Jesus meant by "Love your neighbor as yourself" :)

I just took my 9 year old daughter to one of Tom Stammans meetings. And Tom gave her prophetic words and was extremely accurate.

He was very professional as well. Preached a very good sermon. Knew all kinds of things about my daughter he couldn't possibly known. He has never met her and I never told him anything about her.

He was suprised I had a daughter. He is used of God very much. My daughter now loves the Lord even more because of his accurate prophecy. Tom has also been forgiving of me despite the things I have said about him.

He is a very good man. God bless him.

Comments to Another's Complaint

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Dear #857522 by anonymous It appears to me you have left your review on the wrong site. This review board is for Tom Stamman and I.M.I. Ministries. It appears to me that most of your complaints are about the Pastor of the church Tom was visiting, the congregation, and the children's behavior. Your complaints about Tom, is that he agreed to minister there. I believe this is a strange complaint. A person who serves a surrendered life to God, goes where The Lord tells him/her to go. You have made it clear by your complaints about the church, that they have need of The Lord's ministering work, and yet your complaining that The Lord sent Tom there. Your complaint about the Children is equally odd. You said that you have heard Tom Speak many times, so you obviously don't have a problem with Tom's ministry or once would have been the last. You would also know that I.M.I. Ministries is greatly entrenched in children's ministries in addition to Evangelism, and Tom would not dream of shooing children away from hearing The Word Of God. Jesus said to allow the children to come to him. Shooing them to a play room does not allow the children to come to him. Now perhaps the parents weren't encouraging their children to stay with the seating area and maintain quiet whispers during the service, in which case would be a negative situation, but not Tom's fault. Or perhaps the children merely grew restless at the end of the night and were allowed to play during the general free fellowship time when the adults stand visit one another and wait for personal time with Tom. If you were agitated by the children, perhaps that was your general feeling throughout both speakers messages, and perhaps it wasn't even the congregations preacher you found annoying, but the children you were annoyed with and therefore unable to appreciate the messages you were hearing, or the humor. All in all I think a thoughtful evaluation of your review, shows that most of your review isn't really about Tom or I.M.I Ministries. You were upset that he obeyed God and went to minister at this church because you were disturbed by the children being present in the service. You were upset that Tom didn't thank you for coming, and ask you to come again. The first complaint I addressed already. The second...well, I have two thoughts to share. First, you know that Tom has the gift of prophecy, and discernment, and there is a high chance that he knew you were walking with a critical spirit. The second, is that you are suppose to be a grown up, so why do you require codling? I am not saying this to condemn you, but to encourage you to do some sincere searching by The Holy Spirit into your own heart, and find the maturity Heavenly Father desires of them that are called by his name. Be Well as You Follow Jesus Yeshua.

Beware of False Prophets

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
The Bible says to be aware of false prophets. For obvious reasons. This guy is one of them that comes to you in sheeps clothing preaching the gospel and evangelizing to people who are down, in need, and vulnerable enough to buy into what he is telling them. The guy apparently holds himself up to Gods level and is apparently convinced he is one and the same as God himself. He is not. Do not buy into anything he has to say or teach. Years ago when I was attending the assemblies of god church, he came and spoke to our singles group. He convinced alot of people that it was God speaking through him. It was not. He holds himself up on a throne beside God. Only God himself has that right. He spoke words to me, standing in front of him, putting his hands on my shoulders, that were downright false. He was attempting to take control of me and get me away from my Family, which by the way he had never met. There was another visit he made citing the same, trying to get me away from my Family. Also, a church retreat that I attended at a camp, he was there working me over telling me things I needed to do to get right with God. All of a sudden he got louder and downright abusive, citing satan himself as the one who was really the cause of the abuse. All of a sudden, he shoved me. Again citing satan, saying he was the one who was shoving me and not him. Everyone else in the room bought into it, seeing nothing abusive about it, but praising him for what he was doing in the name of God. Do not buy into this mans message. He is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Stay as far away as you can from him, and others like him. He does not say the truth of God for what it is. Read your Bible. Lean on God, and only God, Son, Holy Spirit, which are one and the same. Feel God in the quiet of your surroundings and in your heart. You will hear him speak to you in ways you never imagined. He has your back. Just talk to him, and him only, about your needs, wants, frustrations, sufferings. He knows, he sees, he hears. He knows everything. Trust in him alone. Your true saviour and rock. Put those other people aside that try to convince you otherwise. God is our strength and our fortress. A very real prescence in our lives in our time of need. God Bless. Amen!

My wife and I visited the City of Refuge in Honduras in April 2016 and were amazed to experience how lively, well educated and well nourished the 72 orphans were. So before you make accusation against this ministry, go on a Honduras mission trip and see for yourself. Its too easy to post negative information without accountability. The negativity about this ministry is groundless. See for yourself the fruit in Honduras and then you can judge.

What do you mean its groundless accusations against Tom Stamman? The person who said that Tom gave him false prophecies, told him to divorce his wife and didn't make good on the financial investment promises gave his real name and someone also posted his website and you can go there and find his email address and contact him.

Tom promised him he would get a check in the mail twice a year on his land investment and its been like ten years and still no check. TOm got that man to give under false pretenses and the man did and now is blowing the whistle that something is wrong with Tom stamman. You can also see Tom on these posts putting down the disabled and poor in the USA and attacking people showing no fruits of the spirit. And then you can find a post from a former house guest of TOms telling of a terrible experience when Tom says he lets his guests stay at his home for free we find out that that is a lie and Tom treats them like slaves.

Watch Toms ministry it will not end well I guarantee it.

TOM STAMMAN

I went to here him at a church in Sanford NC back last year I think it was called healing house ministries. I have been to churches to hear him before but this time was something else.

The church was small and the people were very unfriendly. The preacher tried to be funny and he was very annoying. There was kids acting up during the entire service nobody was controlling there children. I can understand why the church was small the preacher has no personality at all.

He never once thanked me for coming or come again which i would not have bothered to try to go again. Tom is a good man and a man of God this church give him no respect and that really makes me upset. when i visit a church for the first time i watch and when this preacher was praying he was looking all around not respecting God at all. Why Tom goes here i will never know but I myself will never go back.

Even after Tom was done this preacher still was trying to be a comedian. The Kids should have been taken out and had a room of there own playing during the service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
